    Chrissy holds an MFA in choreograpy and performance with from Smith College. She has taught contemporary dance technique, contact improvisation, somatic movement, and conditioning for dancers at Columbia College Chicago, DePaul University, Purdue University, and Cleveland State University. She is currently an associate professor of movement for theater at Northwestern University. Chrissy is available for choreograohic and techincal workshops in dance, movement, and voice for undergraduate and graduate students.

    Chrissy is an invigorating and inspiring private movement coach and instructor who has been teaching movement for 10 years. Somatic practices and inquiries such as Pilates mat and equipment work, Gyrotonic Expansion System, Laban/Bartenieff Fundamentals, and BodyMind Centering deeply inform Chrissy’s integrated movement style. She is currently available for private and small group sessions.

    The foundation of all of Chrissy’s teaching is rooted in her committment to building community. She has taught dance technique and improvisation, contact improvisation, voice and somatic movement workshops in community centers, Chicago public schools, independent performance venues, public parks, backyards, farms, churches, and local independent dance studios. She is avalaible to teach day-long and weekend workshops as well as class series across the midwest, where she is currently based.
